The Sixth Day
On the sixth day, God created the animals, "Then He created man in His image. Male and female, He created them. And they shall rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the cattle, the whole earth, and all creepy things on earth." In this window depicting the ram and ewe, the artist chose the ram because it is symbolic of the ram's horn used for our shofar. The Hebrew written above the animals states, "Ish v'ishah" meaning man and woman.
